October's program includes a performance by singer-songwriter Brooke DiCaro, a tour of the exhibition States of Undress, a lecture on medicine and art, and the return of Slide Jam.

5:30 to 8:45pm / Music
Singer/songwriter Brooke DiCaro’s original compositions combine elements of jazz and blues. Her soulful voice is accompanied by ukulele and piano.

6 to 6:30pm / Curator-led Tour
Christine Giviskos, Curator of European Art, leads a tour of the exhibition States of Undress: Bathers and Nudes in Nineteenth-Century French Art, which demonstrates how French artists relied on tradition and training while updating the context for the nude figure in art.

6:30 to 7:15pm / Lecture
Dr. Norman Finkelstein presents The Art of Medicine: The Relationship between Medicine and the Visual Arts through the Ages. Trained in both art history and medicine, he has built a career as a vascular surgeon in the New Brunswick area.

7 to 8pm / Slide Jam
Artist Jason Baerg pushes boundaries in digital interventions in drawing, painting, and new media installation, while Elizabeth Demaray is an interdisciplinary artist in the fields of art and technology, new media, and eco art.
